lamora: Pay attention this is important. (plotpoint : abstract)
The onsen and a good night's sleep did wonders for me! I feel fantastic again -- although my feet really hurt. $7 Wal-Mart sneakers don't hold up so well after 13 hours of walking. ;P

So, today we went on a tour of the Imperial Palace East Gardens. Sort of. "Sort of" in that we had a tour scheduled, but found our way to the main gates instead of the gates we were supposed to be at, and thus missed our tour and ended up wandering around ourselves. That's okay, though, because we prefer it that way; we just thought the only way in was a guided tour.

Twenty points if you get that.

We finished with the gardens early enough that we could catch the 12:00 Kabuki-za showing of Sanmon Gosan no Kiri, a very short but visually spectacular performance. The stage ninjas were amazing! Adiva wants to be one. From Kabuki-za, we headed to Ginza so Adiva could visit the Takarazuka store.

After that, we wandered to Yoyogi Park, and spent quite a bit of time there. It's very beautiful. We saw a gathering of various people practicing/performing their arts, including a hula-hooper, a juggler, dancers, Christian recruiters, and various student drama clubs. It was very nice, but alas, there was more wandering to be done.

From there, we accidentally wandered back into Shibuya, and then went back to Ginza. I wanted to withdraw more money, and remembered Jen taking us to a CitiBank in Ginza, not far from Hibiya. "Let's go there!" we decided. "It's not far at all!"

Three hours later, we found one. Near the actual Ginza station. Of course. But now I have money, so it is okay. Who needs feet, anyway.

Lived it up a little, and:

Stumbled upon a shrine in the middle of Harajuku, with a graveyard. The quake had knocked some jars over, so we fixed them. Perhaps this will mean good karma!

Unless... they were supposed to be tipped over, in which case, we have made enemies of the dead.

Uh-oh.
